UPDATE ON APPLICATION DECISIONS

As we have received a few questions regarding when applicants will find out whether their abstract(s) have been accepted to Crossroads, we expect to notify everyone on or shortly after February 2nd, 2026.

We hope this clarifies things. We received many fantastic abstracts this year, and it is taking us a little longer than anticipated to review them all!

Good news – registration is now open for Crossroads 2026!

Register here by Friday, February 13th, for a $30 discount! (Regular price: $160).

Final call for abstracts and bursary reminder

A very happy New Year from all of us at Crossroads! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season. 🎄

As we move into a new semester at Dal, we wanted to take the opportunity to remind you of some upcoming deadlines.

Abstract submissions will close at 11:59pm Atlantic time on Friday, January 9th, 2026. Please make sure you’ve sent us your application by this time, using this form on our website, if you’d like to be considered for a presentation slot!

You may also have seen on our social media that we’re once again offering a bursary to three students who submit successful applications to Crossroads to help offset the cost of registering for the conference. Applications should be sent to our email address, dalcihrc@dal.ca, following the guidelines on this webpage.

The deadline to submit your bursary application is also January 9th. Successful applicants will be notified later in the month.

We are looking for volunteers to help us review abstracts for Crossroads!

We offer full training for all review volunteers. More information will be provided nearer to the abstract submission closing date (Dec. 5th, 2025).

We are pleased to announce our plans for the 2026 iteration of Crossroads!

This year, our theme will be “Advancing Health through Collaborative and Community-Informed Approaches”.

We will highlight the importance of inclusive, sustainable health solutions responsive to real-world needs. With a focus on the transformative power of partnership and community engagement, we look forward the welcoming contributions from students, researchers, and health practitioners, championing local voices, cross-sector collaborations, and creating equitable health outcomes in Canada and beyond.
