We’re pleased to be able to offer a conference registration bursary for our 2026 applicants.

The bursary will be offered to three students to cover the cost of registering for Crossroads, with the application process being as follows:

• Submit your abstract via our submission portal by January 5th, 2026.
• Send a letter (200 words maximum) to our email, dalcihrc@dal.ca, outlining why you are a strong candidate for the bursary, by January 9th, 2026.

We select recipients for the bursary based on the reasoning in your letter, and the strength of your abstract in the following key areas: Clarity of purpose/research questions, methodology, significance, originality, and relevance to the conference theme. We will notify you of our decision by January 23rd, 2026.
